Cardtoon Deck
Cardtoon Deck

This is quite possibly the most charming card trick ever invented! A spectator names any card (no force). You then reveal that the entire deck has little stick-figure magicians drawn on it. Then, to the general delight of all onlookers, the end of the deck is flicked, the cards rush by one at a time, and the drawings become an animated cartoon! The stick-figure magician pulls a card from his top hat and turns it over to reveal that it is the same card that the spectator named! This can be repeated immediately with any card as many times as you like. It’s one of those rare tricks that’seven more amazing the second time you see it, yet there are no difficult sleights required.

This one is a modern classic!

Mastermind Trick (Monte Carlo Deck)
Mastermind Trick (Monte Carlo Deck)

Just imagine...A normal pack of cards is displayed and a spectator freely chooses any card, looks at it and replaces it in the deck. The spectator then calls out any number between 1 and 52 and the magician deals down to that position in the deck to find the spectator's card!

Or...The magician displays a normal pack of red-backed cards. He then sets one blue-backed card on the table, sight unseen, which is his prediction. The pack is spread on the table face down and a spectator simply slides any of the cards out of the spread. When the prediction is turned over along with the spectator's selection, they match exactly!

Comes complete with the specially-printed plastic coated pack of cards that make these self-working effects possible.

Mental Photography Deck
Mental Photography Deck

A deck of cards is shown blank on both sides and the magician talks about how cards are printed - not by printing presses, but by magic. At the magicians command, a card appears - but it only has a face but no back! Then the magician "prints" a back but no face!. Finally the magician shows what a deck looks like that a magician has completely printed by making all the cards have both faces and backs! But a magician can always control the printing on the cards and with the snap of a finger they all turn blank again! Miraculous!

Mirage Deck
Mirage Deck

This deck combines all the great effects of a Pop-Eyed Popper Deck and a Svengali Deck all in one box! Fan the deck and have the spectator select any card. Shuffle the pack and make four piles on the table. When the spectator points to any pile the top card of the pile selected is removed and the rest of the pack is reassembled and fanned. The spectator is told to look at the rest of the pack for their card - but it is not there! The card on the table that the spectator selected is the SAME CARD that they selected the first time! Great for both the beginner and experienced magician.

Phil Trick by Trevor Duffy
Phil Trick by Trevor Duffy

A deck of cards is set down on a table. A spectator is asked simply to think of any playing card, and the magician says he will name it.

After a moment of thought, the performer declares, "The name of your card is Phil! You know, short for Phillip!" The audience is understandably a bit surprised. The pack is removed and then shown to have different names printed boldly on the back of every card. When the deck is turned face up and the card named by the spectator is found, it is the one and only card named Phil!
(Not Rough and Smooth!)

Only One Deck Is Used!
Instantly Reset!
No Force of Any Kind!
No Sleight of Hand!
Any Card Can Be Named!

Historical Note: The basic plot of this routine goes back to Fred Lowe's "Christened Reverse." Over the past few decades, many methods have been devised. It turns out that Trevor Duffy reinvented a version that was created by Phil Goldstein in the early 1980s, entitled "Final Fred." That routine had its debut in a lecture at the 1985 FISM convention in Madrid. The issue of this prior invention has now been discussed by Duffy and Goldstein, along with the ironic coincidence of its title, and we are pleased that an equitable arrangement has been made, and this item is being marketed with Phil Goldstein's approval.

Split Deck
Split Deck

The magician shows a deck that has been cut in half diagonally. The cards for both halves are fanned face up to show they are mixed then turned back face down. A spectator then each select one card from the first half of the deck, and a second spectator selects a card from the second half of the deck. Amazingly, when the selected halves are put together and turned face up they match to form a complete card! A baffling effect!

Stolen Cards
Stolen Cards

A completely self-working gem of card magic–now even better!

Effect: The magician introduces an interesting deck of playing cards–one with 52 different back designs. Two of these cards are placed face up on the table, let’s say the jack of hearts and the seven of clubs each deck is different. The spectator now takes the deck and deals the cards into a face-down pile on the table, stopping anywhere he likes. The spectator has an absolutely free choice of where to stop the deal. One of the face-up cards is now dropped on top of the dealt pile and the rest of the cards are dropped on top, burying it somewhere in the center.

The spectator now deals again, stopping anywhere he likes, and the remaining face-up card is dropped on top of the dealt pile, which is in turn covered with the balance of the deck. The deck is now spread the two face-up cards are slid out along with the face down card that lies next to each. These two cards are turned face up and they MATCH the face-up cards! The cards are now turned face down and the backs match as well! Wait, there’s more! For the killer finish, the deck is spread face up to reveal it consists of all tens of diamonds!

Comes complete with a custom "Rainbow Deck" and Lennart's ultra-commercial presentation!

Absolutely No Skill Required!
