In Like a Lyin'

I appreciate how everyone has been keeping Wunderground a secret - not telling your closest friends, not posting anything about it, and certainly not letting anyone know where you get all your cool stuff. But really it’s okay. As a matter of fact, the more people you tell about Wunderground Magic, the more cool stuff we’ll be able to get for you, and the more amazing you’ll become. So tell your friends, post a description of your experience here, share the Wunder, and let others discover just how astonishing they can be. (Just don’t tell anyone about the secret passageway behind the bookcase.)

Wunderground with the Groundhog
Can you believe that tomorrow is Groundhog Day? It seems like just yesterday…and the day before. Do you think it counts as not seeing his shadow if he’s too cold to even stick his nose out the door to look? My girlfriend has been dropping hints about “that important holiday coming up in February,” and honestly I’ve never seen anyone that excited about groundhogs before. Maybe she means President’s Day or Mardi Gras?

Wunderful New Year
Happy New Year! Hope you had a wonderful holiday season filled with magic and happiness. I just returned my son to college, thought about taking down the tree, and then filled the car with enough salt, shovels, and sweaters to make it through January. This winter, if you see a broken down, rusted out red car with the driver burning snow shovels and sweaters to stay warm, stop by and say “Hello.”

Yuletide Wunderground
Someone pointed out to me that, not only are we the best magic shop in Oakland County, but we’re also the worst magic shop in Oakland County. So, we’re working hard to improve our image. We hope someday to aspire to become the most mediocre magic shop in Oakland County. I’ll keep you posted. In the meantime, we appreciate your reviews – good, bad, or indifferent.
