Hi, this is Paul from Wunderground Magic, here to tell you about some exciting products we have in store, and then do my part to reverse the unemployment situation we have here in Michigan. (You know the economy is picking up when the magic shop is hiring.)
I was going to say exciting “new” products, but first up is an old beat up deck of playing cards. I know what you’re thinking, “Paul, you probably just came across some old decks of cards while you were excavating down in your dungeons, and now you’re trying to make a quick buck off an honest sucker.” I mean these are faded, stained, and generally worn out looking, but the finish is wonderful. We’ve sold similar cards for $12.99, but these are only $6.99 while supplies last. (Because I understand someone may be coming out with a great effect based on these cards any moment now.)
One of my favorite trick decks for magic is the Svengali deck, but there’s so much you can do with them that it can be overwhelming. You could get a booklet describing 101 tricks with a Svengali deck for only $3.99, or for that same $3.99 you could get a Svengali deck DVD when you purchase a Svengali deck at regular price. This is the same DVD we regularly sell for $19.99, but because summer is the season for card tricks were offering the DVD for the same price as the booklet. BUT WAIT, THERE’S MORE! (I’ve always wanted to say that. I’ll really try to restrain myself in the future, but don’t bet your last dollar on it.) If you buy the Svengali deck and the DVD, I’ll throw in a booklet for free. It’s an amazingly colossal offer. Hurry, before I figure out what I’m doing and realize I could be selling these at full price. Supplies are limited.
If you haven’t been down in our Discount Dungeon you don’t know what you’re missing. (And if you HAVE been down there, “Sorry about the mess.” And if you are STILL down there, “Bwa Ha Ha.”) I’m buying magic items, collections, and entire stores and passing the savings on to you. You can find priceless artifacts and unusual effects that no one else is doing. There are stock items at prices that can’t be beat. For example, sponge balls for 50 cents and silks for 1 dollar. All the way up to the big illusions for just a few hundred dollars. The Discount Dungeon is only open when the store isn't busy or by special appointment.
Finally, Wunderground Magic is looking for a few good magic demonstrators. You have to be pleasant, reliable, outgoing, friendly, and having a sense of humor better than mine certainly couldn’t hurt. Most importantly, you have to know how to perform magic (But you shouldn’t be reading this newsletter if you couldn’t do that.) Come out, audition, and you could join the ranks of Amazing Jonathan, Keith Stickley, Michael Mode, John Sturk, Mike Thorton, and Dave Foydel who have worked at Wunderground Magic. Bring your resume in person, and show me what you can do!
