Classes Children’s Classes
Classes for children ages 7 through 13 are held every Saturday morning from 10 until 11 AM in the Wunderground Magic Academy . Don’t wait for an owl to arrive at your door. Sign up today.
Adult Workshop
Our March adult workshop unties the secrets of Rope. We’ll be cutting ropes in half, using ropes to cut ourselves in half, and generally knotting things up. Ropes make great magic props because they are small enough to carry anywhere, visible to large audiences, and help control unruly audience members.
Adult magic workshops are held the first Tuesday of each month, which this month will be March 2, at 6:30 PM.
Advanced Adult Workshop
March’s advanced workshop will be card classics. Learn routines such as McDonald’s Aces, Triumph, and maybe take it Out of this World. Learn the card routines that magic’s masters use. I’m told Arthur even has a twist on the 21 card trick that will floor people who think they know.
Advanced adult magic workshops are held the third Tuesday of each month, which this month will be March 16, at 6:30 PM.
Thursday Sessions
We used to have a group of regulars who hung out at the Table of Mystery every Saturday afternoon, and traded tricks. Unfortunately, in our rapid expansion, we’ve gotten too busy on Saturday afternoons, forcing them to practice outside in the snow, where they started their own curling team just to survive.
In an effort to serve you, our customers, better we’re open until 8 on Thursday evenings. Come out and share, learn, watch, or just discuss how much better things were when Mike owned the shop. Bring your own props. We’ll supply common items such as cards, rope, rubber bands, mats, and a mysterious place to gather.
